| VA-841 is a new
formula designed to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases,
such as coronary heart disease and occlusive cerebrovascular disease.
Salviae Miltiorrhziae Radix and Ligustici Rhizoma, the chief ingredients
in this formula, are the most popular herbs for promoting blood
circulation. Both Paeoniae Rubra Radix and Carthami Flos increase
the coronary blood flow. It has been proven that this formula
can dilate coronary arteries, increase blood volume, inhibit thrombosis,
enhance the activity of fibrinolytic system, raise the hypoxia
toleration of cardiac muscle, and inhibit hyper-aggregation of
platelets. In clinical use it can relieve chest pain or angina
pectoris due to blood stagnation. |
